Writing & note making is a long nourished habit of mine. My Tweets & this blog and whatever I may write in the future, are nothing but extensions of my notes. With the advent of technology, the modes of note making have evolved from writing diaries to making e-notes. Tweets & Blogs are simply extensions of such note, with the difference that the diaries had limitations in sharing. I do not even expect my children (although, I do hope!) to read these. Having said that, I’m glad to have you as a companion!
As I learn, I write…as I write, I learn.
Over time, the writing becomes more coherent. I spend a lot of time reading. I read two to three books at a time. As I switch from one reading to another, it gives me time to assimilate and internalise the ideas. Also, it gives me time to connect the dots – connect what I read and learn to what I already know in various domains of day to day life. As I internalise these ideas, I get more ideas.
Based on my learning & my thoughts I am developing a core philosophy & approach of my life – the Philosophy of Rational Flaneurship – the concept & its application in various domains – life, happiness, success, business, investing, financial freedom, health and relationships. I believe that there are some common principles that can be applied as a guiding tool to successfully maneuver across the vagaries of these various aspects of life.
“Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines, practised every day.”
– Jim Rohn, Author, Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker
Writing is impressive, if it comes straight from the heart. I do not claim any scientific rigour behind my ideas. Most of the ideas in the blog originate from my own thoughts, experiences, reading and following some of the greatest people in the above mentioned domains. All of the ideas that are discussed, are written after applying them on myself and experiencing the effects. It is safe to assume that whatever I write and recommend here, I have applied on myself. I’m my own Guinea Pig. Other way around, it is safe to assume that there is nothing mentioned here, which I have not applied on myself, with reasonable success.
The Blog is in an embryonic stage as of now. It will grow. It will evolve. And in the process, I hope it gains your endorsements too!
